Singular Sensations
Title – Singular Sensations – creating monoprints
Student level – all

Description:
A fun, extremely productive workshop for beginners and advanced students as well, monoprinting will focus on methods and techniques for producing high quality prints without a press. A monoprint is a single image created by transferring an image designed on a plexiglass plate to paper. Monoprinting allows the artist to create marvelous textures and surface effects that cannot be obtained by using a brush. Each session will begin with a really entertaining demo followed by lots of time to experiment. Use monoprinting to create beautiful note cards, frame able prints, images for use in altered books and other projects and more. A large body of work will be produced in a short period of time with high levels of success even for rank beginners.
