No Mistakes Water Media
A really fun workshop!
Join award winning artist Cathy Taylor for a unique and stimulating workshop guaranteed to expand your creativity no matter what your personal style. Beginners and experts alike are welcome.
In this workshop, participants will "conquer the fear of white paper" exploring techniques for creating unusual and interesting patterns, textures and special effects using a variety of water mediums. Participants are encouraged to "risk a glorious failure" using experimental techniques in watercolor. The class begins with a demonstration followed by plenty of time to paint with lots of one-on-one instruction.
Using collage techniques, participants will break through creative barriers creating masterpieces from "mistakes".
"Imagination Constipation" will answer the question what to do when your imagination goes on vacation? The class will explore ways to kick start creativity.
The workshop will conclude with a clothesline critque (based on comradarie not competition) . We'll discover together what creates successful paintings and how to resolve problems and perplexions.
